Every year more and more individuals are choosing cremation. The reasons are as unique as the individual and vary from cost considerations to religious beliefs. There are many misconceptions about cremation, such as “you can’t have a traditional funeral if you are cremated” (false), and “it's against the Catholic religion to be cremated” (also false). If you're considering cremation and have questions, please contact us and talk with one of our counselors.
Oak Grove Cemetery has a cremation unit onsite. We also offer a number of options for the final disposition of the remains, including urns, niches in our garden and historic mausoleums, in-ground burial and scattering garden.
